Position Overview

We are looking for a n IT Manager to maintain, upgrade and manage our software, hardware, and local and wide area networks. You should be able to diagnose and resolve problems quickly. You will be supporting the day-to-day operations and assisting with upgrades and projects for users located in the US (Lockbourne, OH, Memphis, TN, and West Bridgewater, MA), China (Shanghai), Mexico and other remote users. Majority of the support will be based in Lockbourne, OH. This position will be working under the Director of IT.

Responsibilities

  • Provides troubleshooting and desktop support services for end users
  • Effectively builds and supports the standard Desktop imaging process
  • Supports Microsoft 365
  • Supports Microsoft Azure environment
  • Supports Windows Servers 2012/2016/2019/2022
  • Supports Microsoft Active Directory, DHCP, and DNS
  • Supports local and wide area networks.
  • Install and configure software and hardware
  • Maintains software updates and patches for Desktops and Servers
  • Maintains network and email access via Active Directory, AD Connect and NTFS permissions
  • Supports Microsoft Voice phone system
  • Monitors network equipment, disk space, and backups
  • Maintains hardware and software inventory
  • Develop expertise to train staff on new technologies
  • Support ERP, WMS, and SQL environments

Qualifications (must have)

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science is preferred. Associate degree or equivalent IT certifications will be considered with relevant experience
  • 10+ years of experience as an IT Manager, System Administrator, Network Administrator, or similar role
  • Microsoft 365
  • Microsoft Azure
  • Ability to work independently and multi-task effectively
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Strong commitment and drive to achieving and exceeding goals
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills along with excellent organizational and follow up skills
  • Experience building and deploying desktop images
  • Experience maintaining and managing Active Directory, Group Policy, DHCP, DNS, Printer Management
  • Knowledge of VBScript, PowerShell, and Python
  • Experience with ERP systems
  • Experience with SQL Server
  • Experience with backup solutions

Desirable (nice to have)

  • Programming experience with MS Access and VBA
  • Experience with Microsoft Intune
  • Experience with networks (LAN, WAN)
  • Experience with Crystal Reports
  • Automotive industry knowledge
